Cotton Belt Trail – North Richland Hills

 

CottonbeltThe Cotton Belt Trail is part of the planned Dallas Fort Worth Veloweb which will connect suburbs to downtown and residential neighborhoods to the areas where the residents work. The North Richland Hills segment of the Cotton Belt Trail stretches for four miles from Precinct Line Road to Browning Drive.

Parking lots are located at Dick Faram Park (Amundson Drive) and the municipal complex located immediately west of Iron Horse and south of Dick Fischer.

To get to Dick Faram Park, drive north on Davis Boulevard and turn left on Main Street (up near old downtown Smithfield). Take the left fork immediately after the railroad tracks and Dick Faram Park will be on the right less than 1/4-mile down. The Cotton Belt Trail is on the left side of the road.

NRH Trail MapCurrently, the Cotton Belt Trail in North Richland Hills links to Walker's Creek Trail. Walker's Creek Trail will take you to NRH2O, where they have plenty of bike stands to lock up your bikes and enjoy a day at the NRH2O water park. Walker's Creek Trail also links up to the North Electric Trail, which runs west to the Holiday Lane Athletic Fields.

To visit Town Walk Chase go south on Davis from Southlake Blvd. and turn East on Main Street. Take the left fork immediately after the railroad tracks and TWC will be on the right less than ½ mile down. Be sure to notice The Cotton Belt Hike/Bike Trail, The Grapevine Railroad Tracks that carry passengers twice a day on the Tarantula Train, Polar Experience, or Grapevine Wine Train, and Dick Faram Park where the Grapevine Railroad will soon have a new stop!

Driving Directions to Town Walk Chase
